first contact

When you contact us, we’ll offer you a 30-60 minute meeting free of charge, on Zoom or face to face in our garden office. This is to get a sense of what you want from your website and to see if we’re a good fit. We’ll talk about your wider digital marketing approach. We’ll ask about your business and project goals, brand and photography. Then, with these details in hand, we’ll get started on a plan.

With scope, budget and a rough timeline agreed, we’ll look at the smaller details. To help us avoid unnecessary delays, we’ll share an outline of what needs to be done to get to go-live. Next we’ll map the site and start to bring your project to life by creating the site homepage.

Once the homepage is ready, we’ll have a look together to ensure the project is going in the right direction and to course-correct where needed. By this stage, the frame is ready, with colours, fonts, branding and layout principles all in place. After we’ve agreed this, we’ll complete the build, which you can visit whenever you like. We’ll also sort the domain and hosting while adhering to web standards to get you ranking well.

After the work is done, it’s nearly time for your site to launch. We’ll check through the site, testing everything from links to the site’s responsiveness on a range of screen sizes. Also part of go-live is getting your site set up on Google Analytics and setting your homepage description for Google. Once everything is ready to go, we’ll flip the switch. We love to see customers’ businesses flourish as a result of our work.

While your website will speak for your business 24/7, it needs looking after too. As well as hosting, consider how you’ll keep it updated by having a look at our maintenance packages. Need more traffic? Social media is a fantastic way to show people the way, or paid online advertising like Google Ads if you’re looking for a faster paid result.

Questions?

Based on your project needs, we might decide to use stock photography or schedule a photo shoot so you can really show off your brand online. Read Anthony’s blog post: What photography do I need for my website?

You’ll always know your product or service better than anyone, so it’s best if you get your website wording started. That said, we can polish and clarify wording, align it to your brand and/or make it tasty for Google.

Our websites start at £1,000. Find out about what you get for your investment in our website price guide.

All our websites are based on WordPress which includes a great content management system (CMS). If you’d like to update the website yourself, we provide WordPress training via Zoom, as well as a handy cheat sheet for when you forget a step. If you don’t have the time or technical inclination, we provide maintenance packages from £50/month. We can also update sites on an ad-hoc basis at an hourly rate. Speak to us
